Prosecco has been the top selling fizz in the UK for the last few years (even beating Champagne and Cava). It's made from a white grape called Glera, but in 2020 it was ruled that a small percentage of Pinot Noir could be added to the Glera in order to create pink Prosecco! Cue cheers from all directions! And so the Senti Prosecco Rosé was born, made from grapes grown in the prestigious Prosecco region, capturing that same enjoyment, refreshment and celebratory spirit that we know you adore.
Damiano Canali joined Viticoltori Ponte as head winemaker in 2010. This co-op was founded in 1948 after a band of winemakers got together at the end of WWII, and over the last 70 years they have continued working with the best wine growers of the Veneto region. Damiano enjoys working with this co-op as he is able to follow the entire process, starting with the grape (during harvest), to selecting the best cuvées for his wines.
"This is ideal as an aperitif, but it is also superb when accompanied by sushi and sashimi or other seafood and fish appetisers. It will also lends itself well to more delicate dishes such as vegetable cous-cous and light, Mediterranean-style risottos." - Damiano Canali, Winemaker.
