What colours are best for summer?
How can I keep flowers looking their best in the summer?
Keeping your flowers cool, but not cold, is key here. Have them away from sources of direct sunlight like on windowsills or anywhere the sun shines brightly - this will stop them drying out and wilting so quickly. Make sure they've got plenty to drink too, as the temperature goes up, so does their thirst. You'll want to check in on it more often as a result and top up with room temperature water when the level drops.Will the flowers be okay after travelling without water?
All our flowers get a good drink at HQ before they are sent to the lucky recipient, but they will need a small amount of attention on arrival. Make sure you follow the guide that comes with the blooms and cut at least 2cm off the end of each stem at an angle. This gives the stems a larger surface area to drink from and take water up to the flower.What flowers in summer?
