Middlesbrough is a market town in the Tees Valley, between the Yorkshire Moors and County Durham in north-east England. Like many northern towns, Middlesbrough has a rich industrial heritage, with a past dominated by iron and steel. It’s famous for its bridge, the Tees Transporter, while a nearby hill, Roseberry Topping, was a favourite spot of a notable person from the area: Captain James Cook.
