Devon FAQS

Yes, we offer next day delivery to Devon. All our deliveries are safely packaged in specially designed flower containers before being transported carefully to their destination. Our delivery partners for nationwide flower delivery have many years of experience of delivering flowers throughout the UK and all drivers are trained to ensure that they handle the flowers with care and keep the deliveries upright.

What is the flower of Devon?
Devon’s county flower is the primrose, also known as Primula vulgaris. This pretty pale yellow flower grows prolifically in Devon, and it’s usually the first to arrive at the beginning of spring - hence the name ‘primrose’, which comes from ‘prima rosa’, meaning first rose.
Why are Arena Flowers flowers fresher and better value?
Our flowers are fresher and better value than almost any other UK florist for a number of reasons. We purchase our flowers direct from the flower auctions in Holland, cutting out several commission-taking middlemen along the way. We buy in reasonable volume, so we are able to get better prices on behalf of our customers. And we haven't got fancy, showy offices to support! Also, our flowers spend only a short period of time in our fridge before going out as we buy every day instead of once a week like the vast majority of florists. This all means that you will get better value flowers that have spent far less time in transit if you buy from Arena Flowers than you would almost anywhere else.
What are Arena Flowers shipping and delivery policies?
In the unlikely event of any problems with any order you place with us we will either resend or refund your order. For further information, please see our comprehensive flower delivery policies page, the terms and conditions of use of the site, and our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
When will the flowers arrive?
Our general delivery times are between 8.00am and 6.00pm. We also offer timed delivery options, depending on the region you are sending to. These can be seen in our checkout.
Where is the best place to see flowers in Devon?
There’s no end to Devon’s floral inspiration. On the one hand it’s a haven for British wildflowers, such as the humble primrose or the vivid yellow gorse flowers that add a splash of colour to Dartmoor, and on the other there’s the immaculate flower beds of gardens such as RHS Garden Rosemoor or the National Trust’s Coleton Fishacre House and Gardens.
